Armando Farfan, Jr. is the owner of The Living Art of Armando. He is a renowned costume designer, sculptor and artist whose stunning designs have graced the stages of Broadway, Las Vegas and around the world. He has designed aerial arts for venues such as MGM, Mandalay Bay, Treasure Island, Bellagio and Studio 54, created pieces for Celine Dion and Bette Midler, and collaborated with Cirque du Soleil.
Armando also designs and creates the iconic wearable wings for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Whether precision-crafted in metal, feathered, or bejeweled, each set of wings to grace the stage at the annual stage show is undeniably dramatic and breathtaking.
Armando is also a sixth-generation circus performer who performed with his parents as a flying trapeze artist at 6 years old in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Through the years, he has worked as a circus and aerial consultant on shows such as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera” sequel “Love Never Dies.” A rich life of artistic and disciplined performance gave Armando his tremendous drive and work ethic, as well as the inspiration for the unique, wearable designs he creates today.
